This policy explains how errors are reviewed and corrected without erasing source lineage or hiding changes.
We distinguish source, ingestion, calculation and editorial errors. Accepted price records are not overwritten in place; remediation creates a traceable record or content version.
Reporting and verification
A report should identify the page, statement or value, time and available evidence. The final contact channel awaits owner approval; no fictitious address is published in its place.
Applying a correction
An administrator checks source lineage, calculation and editorial version. Missing data never becomes zero, and a historical financial record is never edited in place; the reason and time are audited.
Questions about these tools
Does a correction delete the original price record?
No. Original records remain and a corrected record or version is added with an auditable reason.
